I am tired, sleepy, minus $90, and sore from my second day of using EA Sports Active on the Wii (an awesome Christmas present from my aunt), but I am so relieved that none of that matters right now. One application done, two more to go! At this point, I've done all I can with the NYU application, and it is now in the possession of the admissions office. I can only look forward to the other two I need to complete, but mostly I'm ready to be done entirely with this process.
Interestingly, when I think about going through this insanity in high school, I don't remember really praying for God's guidance at all. Maybe briefly, but I never made it a point to put my faith and trust in Him that everything would work out according to His plan for my life. Maybe that's why this hurt so much. Not this time though. I'm ready to give it all to God.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7) |
